Arguably, the most important website I’ve ever developed. First imagined 16 years ago in traditional HTML it’s evolved through Drupal versions 6, 7, 10 and now 11. With a lot of historical, hand-written content and also complimentary AI content this website is first-in-class for organic SEO results and is often my sandbox for developing new ideas.

The Live Karaoke Band website was redesigned and rebuilt as the latest iteration of an already successful entertainment website. The previous version was still generating strong results, but the design was beginning to feel dated and the site needed a sharper, more confident presentation to reflect the energy and professionalism of the live show.
The new website design and build focused on improving first impressions, simplifying the user journey and making it easier for potential clients to understand the band’s offer. A streamlined mega menu was introduced to guide visitors towards the most relevant event pages, helping turn more organic traffic into genuine enquiries.
Built on Drupal 11, the site combines a flexible content structure with strong technical foundations. Each key landing page is supported by targeted SEO work using Yoast, including focus keywords, page titles, meta descriptions, URL patterns and carefully structured content. This supports the site’s best-in-class organic search performance across highly competitive live entertainment terms.
The project also included a renewed content and media strategy, with new photography and a new promotional video commissioned to better communicate the atmosphere of the show. A video wallpaper on the homepage gives visitors an immediate sense of the band’s energy, while ongoing SEO and content improvement, performance optimisation and digital strategy helped create a faster, clearer and more commercially effective website.
The new mega menu helps focus the user on why they are looking at the website by connecting their event to the band’s shows. The result is a proven 50% increase in enquiries.
